A sand sculpture interpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous picture, “The Last Supper.” The sculpture was created in April of 2010 during the Holy Week and was finished on Easter Sunday. The artwork was crafted by five sculptors: Gisele Prata Real (who sculpted Christ and the two apostles on his left), Carlos Rojo, Gilmar Munhoz, Ronald Lopes, and Jair Damasceno. The project was developed by Sergio Yplinski, Director of Culture, and was sponsored by the Guarujá Municipal City Hall.
